PiĆa – Skrzatusz (green trail, PI-7005z) – 12km The trial starts at the crossroad of Wojska Polskiego avenue and Lotnicza street, by Primary School number 7, then straight ahead to SzydĆowo – (right) to Zawada – (left) into the forest – (straight) it cuts the SzydĆowo-Zawada road – the path to Skrzatusz
Bicycle tourist trial around PiĆa (yellow trial, PI-7004y) – 38km The trial starts in WaĆecka street (the bus terminus) then along the Koszycki lagoon to Reserve KuĆșnik – through the forest to the PiĆa-Zawada road – GĆadyszewo estate – through Dolaszewo, KotuĆ to the PiĆa-Trzcianka road –through the forest to the PiĆa-PoznaĆ road – through Motylewo – over the bridge over the river Gwda, straight to LeszkĂłw (War Cemeteries) – (left) through the railway to Wawelska street (the end at the bus stop). The trial can also be done in the opposite direction and it can be started at any place.
International Bicycle Trial Euro Route R-1 The International Bicycle Trial Euro Route R-1 starts in Boulogne (Calais-France) over the Channel Tunnel and leads through France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland to the border with Russia and then to Kaliningrad. It runs by WyspiaĆskiego - Mickiewicza - Warsztatowa - Okrzei – Zygmunta Starego – Walki MĆodych streets through PiĆa then PiĆa- LeszkĂłw – PiĆa-Kalina to Kaczory.
SMOK “Educational Bicycle Path Dragon” (green trial, PI-7003z) – 20km PiĆa LeszkĂłw – PiĆa Kalina It is attached to the International Bicycle Trial EuroRoute R-1. It starts at the railway gate PiĆa-LeszkĂłw, it ends at the car park next to a wooden dragon. Two plots combine on the trial:
Historical, connected with the I and II world war:
- War Cemeteries complex PiĆa-LeszkĂłw: the prisoners’ cemetery from the years 1914-1918, and the cemetery from the II world war
- a cholera cemetery form December, 1914
- a ride through the piece of former Polish-German border from the interwar period
- authentic bunkers and trenches
Ecological, connected with the functionality of the forest, unusual phenomena:
- hydrological – a period pound and a period river, collecting heavy rains and excess of water of lake Kopcze
- geological (front moraine)
- ecological (a deformed pine)
- a variety of many habitats – from sand dunes overgrown with pines, throughout mixed broadleaved forest to variety of forests with the majority of oaks
- a lot of fauna
At the end of the path there is a wooden dragon where you can sit and relax, light a fire. The trial is suitable for any kind of bicycle.
Trans-Great Poland Bicycle Trial – the north section
This is a trial connecting a lot of curiosities from the world of nature, architecture and tourism between PoznaĆ and Okonek. The section is about 200 km and leads from SoĆackiego Park in PoznaĆ, through SzamotuĆy, CzarnkĂłw, Trzcianka and PiĆa to Okonek. The trial starts in WyspiaĆskiego street, then Mickiewicza, Warsztatowa, Okrzei, Zygmunta Starego, OkĂłlna, KusociĆskiego, Kossaka streets, the bicycle path to lake PĆotki, then to the crossing with the road, and left to the forester’s lodge ZaciszĂłw, and then to SkĂłrka.
